The Crow Creek Sioux Reservation is located in south-central South Dakota on the eastern bank of the Missouri River, what is now Lake Sharpe and Francis Case. Vast areas of grassland prairie and agricultural lands dominate the landscape, intersected by lush riparian zones of oak, ash, cottonwood, and river bluffs interspersed with cedar trees. The Reservation offers exceptional upland game bird and waterfowl hunting, as well as deer, antelope and varmint hunting. Healthy populations of wild ring-necked pheasants , sharptailed grouse, and prairie chickens are found throughout the tribal lands. Being centered in Central Waterfowl Flyway ensures massive numbers of migrating ducks and geese, and premier waterfowl hunting as a result. There are approximately 137,000 acres of tribal and trust land within the 256,000 acre reservation which can be hunted with a valid tribal hunting license.
